Christopher Kelsey is a ceramic artist based in Spokane, Washington. Originally from Montana, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montana State University–Billings in 1997, where he studied photography and sculpture. Clay has been his primary medium since that time. His work explores themes of change, memory, and the natural processes that shape both land and human experience. In 2008, he co-founded Trackside Studio, a working studio and gallery shared with fellow clay artists.
In addition to Trackside Studio you can see Chris’s work at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana and Atticus Coffee and Gifts in Spokane, WA.
